These are our one piece heavy-duty Sand Rail spindle clamping nuts, these clamping nuts are different from the factory style in that the spacer plate that would normally rest up against the outer wheel bearing and nut is built right into this clamping, the Volkswagen original style to nuts that jammed together and had a lock plate to keep the nuts from loosening. With this style simply adjust the bearing free play and lock the Allen set screw down to keep the wheel bearings tight and secure
