Hey folk , A quick hi from Melburg , Australia. I'm driving a LHD 13 window 67 with a 2276 , looking forward to learning the finer details of performance from the home of VW horsepower Grin . I'm making my first trip to the US very soon for the "Classic weekend" ,hoping to buy a bunch of go fast stuff to take home, everything here in Aussie is very expensive! . Cheers guys.

Nice looking bus. It would like nicer if he brought it to SC and let me drive it for a few days.  headbang

Is you all trah-ing to in-sinerate that Ah've turned inta some kind-a raydneck? Jest cawz I like both types of musack (Kerntry aynd Westurn) and wear a big hat, and like to pluck a g-string every now and then, daw't mean nuthin' y'hear!

"Cleatus... will ya put that banjo down and stop that damn dawg from waking the neighbourhood!!"

I'm just a citizen of the world - where-ever I lay my (big) hat is my home (as that 1980's song goes). And Koala's aren't anything to worry about Tabi, 'cept the really really big ones - they have a tendency to creep into your bed at night at poke you in the back when you least expect it....

"...you mad bunch of nutters..." Hey, I resemble that remark !! Mad they may be, but about as knowledgible a bunch of folks as you could hope for, except for me, and Volksy and Rob (who's still AWOL) we're just here to make up the numbers.

Yes, we did fail to catch-up Buggyman. I also missed out on meeting Volksy (I was in "flu-recovery autopilot just get me to the hotel" mode when we came down PCH), and Tabi (you still owe me a breakfast burrito) as well. However, I think I left Don with a reasonable impression of what could/would/will happen IF I ever manage to get out to B'Fest and there just happens to be an over supply of Lynchburg's finest at the same time.

Going away with the boys racing this weekend - well I'm not racing, but "officiating" - so will raise a practise glass (or 7) towards Tucson, LA and SC - unfortunately we do have a couple of, urrrggg, Victorians attending, but I'm sure they'll not spoil the fun too much LOL_Sign
