Hello all, I would like to introduce myself, My name is Glenn, I have 3 bug projects currently in the works, 2 converables, a 78, and a 73.  I am also building a Baja from a hard top 73.  I will have a lot of questions, and will be counting on all your help!  Yesterday, I pulled my first motor out.  The top left bold was installed backwards, the nut was behind the fan cowling (what a PITB).  I got it though.  A small funnel blew through, took my canapy about 100 yards out in my field.  All in all, it was an eventfull start!

VIN, I presume you mean pics of the bugs, rather than the canopy in the field ?

Welcome.

Welcome.

Actually, I think both would be quite entertaining Smiley and by his screenname, we have another Alaskan in our mists! Not that that's a bad thing, but it seems if you're from Arizona, Florida, California or Alaska you drive VW... Which is weird because all are hot places except Alaska. And can you really see Russia from your back yard?

Sorry. Rambling. Sad
