Yeah, it's a progressive carb, but my dual Dels are going back on when I get to make my Chirco order.  I actually got better mileage/performance with the Dels.  "Overheating" for the most part was my paranoid mind.  All aprons get hot.  The dizzy was retarded 5*, (unlike 180* like me  Banghead) and valves were out too.  I switched to 20w50 oil in warm weather (10w40 now), and it runs great!!
