We had a great time Shocked We were very shocked to get 2nd place in type 1 '68-'79, speechless, didn't know how to react. It was our first show and not the last. Thank You Chirco Staff, you put on a great show. If there is a list of the winners and the vehicles that own them, can someone point me in that direction.

Very cool

Is this you?

Now, being the practical kind of guy that I am, I have a suggestion for Bugtoberfest 2010.

I've just spent some time browsing a very interesting site: http://www.tucson.com/

They have an event calendar, and I've just waded through 180+ events that occured on the 17th Oct 2009. I could've being educated in how to make Pearl Knotting Jewellery, or attended a demo on Water Coolers, or (be still my beating heart) I could've sung unlimited karaoke with someone called Dan; I could've gone to the Classic Car Show at Little Anthony's (7010 E Broadway), or the Tucson Classic Car show at St Gregory's Prep School.

I would most definitely have gone to the High Chaparral cast reunion at the Old Tucson studios - loved that program as a kid: Big John, Buck, Manalito, Blue and the rest (and it's being repeated on cable over here at present).

But where wouldn't I have gone (had I not been a member of this prestigious forum) ? Yep, that's right I wouldn't have gone to Bugtoberfest. Why ?, coz it's not in the calendar, therefore I wouldn't have known about it. Maybe the locals know in any case, but, us "out of towners", just browsing around the web for something to do on a gloriously sunny Sat/Sun, would be stuck doing pearl knotting......... mm mmm mmmm

Don/Joe: It pays to sell, whip that Lemorris into shape, and if he doesn't get it up there next year, have him stand out on the road somewhere with one of those sandwich boards saying "I failed - again" !!

We did have an ad on the AZ Daily Star site which serves the entire Pima County population (over 1 million) and it was the largest Bugtoberfest ever by far.  Smiley

I'll get better man...global domination takes time...not bad for 3 months on the job though.

Wait till next year.
