Haha, i recognize that screen name from STF.  he has a picture of his baja on the roof. a failed wheel bearing was likely a walk in the park.  anyways 4 wheels are overrated, hes got 3 more.. Grin

A somewhat extreme method for catching fish and rabbits, but apparently fairly effective - assuming of course that there was enough "non-evaporated flesh and bones" left over to put on the grill - if not, then I suppose it's back to pole 'n hook/rifle approach !

Not necessarily wrong - but it does require a significant amount of planning and restraint.

I mean, what if I wanted Vodka-gummymush right now ? Well, if that was the case, I would've needed to anticipate that desire somewhere around mid-night last night (given the stated 10-12 hour gestation period quoted in the video), when it was probably not viable to go and buy Vodka and gummy bears. Unless of course you had them in the house already, which would've meant that you'd anticipated last weekend (whilst doing the family grocery trip), that last night you'd know you going to want vodka gummy bears at lunchtime today....

But, if you'd already bought vodka and gummybears, why wouldn't you have automatically made and subsequently consumed (on Sunday or Monday, depending on when you do the groceries) your vodka-gummymush - because then you'd be back to square 1 again: no vodka gummymush to consume, and no ingrediants, yesterday, to make them.

Y'see, planning and restraint... very necessary character traits.

Anyhow, I feel the need to bring some Friday night "boys in the garage" sanity back in this place. So hold beer above head, turn volume to 11.... and  headbang

LOL - y'know the funniest thing is that when my youngest was around 2 or maybe 3, we were watching a rerun of one of those movies on TV, at something like 3 in the morning during one of those "I'm not tired" "Oh yes you are" "No I'm not" periods they go through, and for some reason (and don't ask why I tried) I managed to pull off an imitation of a Tie fighter - y'know that high-pitched howl thing. Well, for what seemed like days until she finally "decided" she was tired enough to go to sleep, I had to repeat that howl over and over again - I went into work the next day, with my eyes bloodshot and in the back of my head, and a voice like I'd smoked a pack and a half, in between downing a bottle of Jack, with sandpaper chasers - and to this day, no-one believes why.

We drove out into the Borrego Springs desert geocaching and here is a 1 mimute video of the ride back to the paved highway.
