Hi my name is Skinz and I'm new to these forums. I wish I had a photo to post but the file size is to big. I have a 1973 std. beetle and it will be an off-road Baja Buggy very soon.

I use the MS Office picture manager to compress pictures before posting. It's quick and easy. If you have office, right click on picture icon, the click on "open with". Select MS Office picture manager. At the top of screen hit the "picture " pull down menu and select "compress". This will open a box on your screen with options. Select web page and click on compress. Save your changes and you will be able to post here. It's easier than it sounds.

My new toy, 1971 Baja. Needs work! Hope to gleen some wisdom from the board. I have never owned a bug before, but we used to dune buggy a lot back in the 80's with my Dad. Want to get back out on the Michigan trails. Mike Z.

Hey all, here is the '72 baja my wife and I just got. It's actually at Chico's right now getting some work, but we are real excited for it. Learning a ton right now, and loving it!

Hey! My husband and I just got 1972 Baja Bug...uh I mean I got a 1972 Baja Bug that my husband is welcome to work on! Were lovin' it and I have really enjoyed workin' on it! It's addicting! Last weekend I replaced my first CV joint boot and repacked the bearings, it was a greasy mess but a ton of fun! Oh yeah the husband helped, got to give him props or I'll be sleeping on the couch This weekend we're tackling the re-wiring and installing some new gauges. Chirco has been awesome! They are super helpful and a great resource. I look forward to Bugtoberfest and meeting some of you all!

Even if the CV Packing was in the purse store at the mall, my wife would not get anywhere near one.

She makes a mean whiskey on the rocks too , funny though, she never wanted to work on my scout with me, but since this is "her baja" she's all ovr it! I'll take it though. We are almost done with the rewire, woo hoo! It's been a blast working on it together.
