With over 5500 post please use the search box to find topics and post relating to your questions.
Use shorter words to narrow down your search.

The larger our mail order customer base gets, the harder it is to stay in touch.
These kind of forum boards are becoming more popular as the world seems to get smaller
through the use of on-line tools.
We are hoping that not only can we increase the number of questions we are able to answer for our customers,
but also have our customers hop in and share their experiences with building, fixing and improving cars that we adore.
Thanks for visiting and please go through the simple registration process.
If you have any questions, please feel free to get ahold of us.
Thanks

OK....I know the Chirco forum is in it's infancy stage and growing daily.  Here's a website that has a great forum and the whole site is for all VW bugs not just Supers as you might be led to think by it's URL. You might get some ideas here for our forum.

http://www.superbeetles.com/home.htm

It features alot of fun areas and great information.  I'm hoping the DHP group will post more events and happening on there site where we can all get together.  Another thing I notice is the forum here seems to contain a lot of Baja stuff and not much VW Bug items...not saying there's anything wrong with that as Chircos is known worldwide for it's Baja building skills and knowledge.
Hopefully as time goes by the Forum will get bigger with more participation.  I haven't posted photos of "The Blues" as yet as I haven't found the time to snap some new shots.  Keep up the good work you guys!

I know I have not been around here long, but I expect I will be using this site for as long as I have a VW in the garage. I like that this is a fairly new forum, regular members are knowledgeable and have a great sense of humor. I appreciate the contents are kept clean and I have never seen a degrading response. Everyone should know this is a result of the board moderators, not the members. Thanks guys.

I think it is most important, for a forum such as this, to keep the original thread starter in mind when making replies. Especially in the technical areas. I know it is easy to get a topic side tracked with humor or idle chat, but just keep the issue that started the thread in mind.

I think the second most important forum etiquette is providing a response to every thread. If you realize that most new members join in order to ask a specific question. If that question is ignored, they will likely continue their search for a forum that will at least reply with a request for more details.

I did not mean to sound like a saint. I have nothing against a little adult humor. It is really the filth embedded into responses that turn me and I assume many, off many web site forums. Keep up the great work.

So ... whats the joke Don ...

I just could not help myself.

We do try very hard to be helpful in our forums and I do thank you for the kind words.

You are correct that every post needs to be replied to in a rapid fashion.
They way I knew that our forums were going to be a success, was when I started to see members answering other members questions.

That is why we try and give some of the post some time before we answer the questions so it can be a team effort to solve problems.

I hope none of our members ever feel embarrassed to jump in and give some advise or expand on the question.
This will make us all more knowledgable.

ya know, the more members that post to answer others questions, the more ideas are thrown around and learned from. Chirco has a set way of doin things. others have their ways too. with all of the info slingin through here like two chicks mud wrestlin (naked that is  Wink ), a lot is learned, rehashed, and improved.

between www.chirco.com and www.azbaja.com, the air cooled scene has never been better  Grin

you can toggle from street/ off road to just off road with a smidgen of street mixed in.

aircooleds are like hookers. if ya got enough money, they will do anything  Shocked

thats a negative sir.

I was just stating that Chirco could be considered a streeters site when azbaja is a off-road (by name) site.

I consider Chirco as Off road...........use to be OFF ROAD BUGGY Supply was the place in T-Town. Now it's CHIRCO. What ever happen to Hughy.....did he move to Mexico? I have some old pictures of a day north of Mt. Lemon, lots of off roaders trying to climb an impossible hill on the El Paso gas line. I will dig them up and post em sometime.

We bought his inventory and we were going to buy his land.
The deal was way to flaky. So we packed everything up and bought it east.
