We decided to get the pedals put in place. We are going to keep the stock pedals except we put on a black roller pedal. (Chirco also carries them in Blue, Yellow and Billet) First we put in a new stock clutch cable. Our clutch hook was in good shape and did not need replacing . We put a slight layer of bearing grease on the cable so it will go through the tube easier and ran it through. We also attached a small zip tie on the cable where it attaches to the pedal assembly to hold it on since we won't have any tension on it for awhile.

Then we have decided to use a universal accelerator cable instead of a stock one. The reason was because it is much longer since we do not know what carb set up we are going to use. They also give you two options for attaching  to the gas pedal. We chose the lager end that really secures well to the pedal.
I was very happy that every thing has bolted together very well. We have good tension will the stock spring and the pedals were not bent at all. Pretty good for a 33 year old set pedals.
All that is left is to put on some new pedal  pads.
